Here are four points to remember.
Only the Roman Catholic denomination sits on many waters (Rev.17:1,15), has defiled the planet with Paul (v.2), may have started and commands Islam (v.3), has leaders who wear red (v.4a), is a great mother harlot with many daughter harlots (denominations born during the Reformation and since to this day) (v.5), has killed martyrs (v.6a), sits on seven mountains (v.9), is visited by earth's kings and presidents (v.18). Eight identifiers show all denominations, Catholic and Protestant, are harlots, not churches, and Rev. 18:4 commands believers to leave them. Attending the denominations, you have fallen away into apostasy (doing what the apostles say, instead of Jesus), and you have never been to church, except perhaps by prayer.
The true church reads, learns and does what the Gospel says including Jesus' miracles. You can start a group of 12 as Jesus did, teach them intensely in Spirit and Word for 3 years then graduate them as apostles sent by God in answer to prayer to the Lord of the Harvest, then all start their own groups of 12 so it multiplies 12x12 every 3.5 years instead of continuously having a boss, elder relationship over the same people. This could spread around the world in 10 cycles or 35 years!
Lessons to teach in the 3 years can include memorizing one Gospel or the whole New Pentateuch, the 5 books with most of Jesus' words (Mt, Mk, Lk, Jn, Rv) and what it means. An improvement in following the Gospel as law is Jesus sang only one hymn so the singing of hymn after hymn doesn't belong. For miracles, I only know of two resources besides serious prayer, the "Finger of God" film plus radio and TV archives at SidRoth.org which need parental guidance to concentrate on the miracles Jesus did instead of others that may not be approved by Him.
Backsliding from the Gospel to Paul turns churches into harlots, disobeying Jesus on money and setting up elders. Matt. 23:8 says not to be called Rabbi, which to Jews exactly equals elder (TBN). In Romans 15:27, to those who would become Catholic, Paul taught donation as a matter of debt and duty instead of free will, thus prostituting them to pay material things for spiritual instead of spiritual for spiritual. Paul's misteachings are responsible for all their evil which is why there can never be any believer worse than Paul.
On the spiritual number line with Satan at left and Jesus at right, Paul is center, the worst Christian there ever can be to show bottom of the barrel types that they haven't fallen as far as Paul so they can join in following Jesus instead of trying to live down to less than the least of all good Christian saints. So at least teach your kids to remember a whole Gospel and love Jesus Christ.
One pastor spoke of two directions, getting away from what isn't church and going toward what is. Jesus said the prostitutes may enter the kingdom of heaven, it's not so in Esther. So how do you interpret that?
Mat 21:31b-32
Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
In my opinion, Jesus wants those who obey Him even if they are in the false churches as long as they repent after. Have you repented yet?
